  • Without Collie, who is the go to guy next year?

Now that it is official that Collie is going pro, who will be the main guy? Pitta? Jacobsen? Will the Matthews kid be back?

It should be Unga. Ride that train, especially if Tonga will be back.

Pitta and George are good enough that they can create mismatches. I think at WR we'll see a big WR-by-Committee approach, with Ashworth, Chambers, Jacobsen and Spencer Hafoka getting touches.

Losing Collie hurts. He was clearly the best player on BYU's offense last year.

He was clearly the best player in the conference. Big time loss but I am happy for him. Hopefully Jacobson can become Collie-esque.

Yeah, I see a lot more Unga out of the backfield. Seemed like BYU didn't do the wheel route to Unga much this year like they did in 07

They didn't hand the ball to him enough either. See Utah game.

Which is what they hopefully do next year. Run the damn football.

I hope so too. Think the OL will be able to help him produce?

                It is official?

Then I officially don't care what Austin Collie is doing now.

Once you jump to the NFL, fare thee well.

                  Jorgenson will go both ways.

I think part of the OLs problem is their reluctance to run the football consistently. Running the football is a lot about attitude, IMO. It is a mindset, and it is a much different mindset than when you are asked to pass block 70% of the time. I think if BYU commits more to the running game, then we'll see an O-Line that is better at run blocking.

I also think it is easier with a young offensive line getting them to learn to run block than pass block.
