With the scheduling of respectable has-beens like Oklahoma, is it safe to assume that the Big 12/SEC cream-puff philosophy has been abandoned?
If so, USC has openings on its schedule.
2010...Sep 18 (if SC decides to go for the 13th game, if not they will use this as a second bye week, similar to this season)
2011...Sep 3 (season opener for SC)
2012...Sep 1 (season opener for SC)
BYU and SC are now clearly competing for some of the same polys. SC's ability to recruit them is only going to continue to increase (I am assuming John Martinez is poly and not hispanic). BYU should be all over this. I would say even to the tune of a 1 for 2 (if that is what it took to secure the series).
