  • Open letter to Manti Te'o

    Young man:

You are a great prospect, but a prospect nevertheless. You are not NFL ready. You need a coach who will take you to that next level.

You can't be serious about BYU. Has BYU produced a single great defensive player under the current staff? NO. In contrast, take a look at Stevenson Sylvester. Unlike yourself, he was a total unknown coming out of his Las Vegas high school. Now his trajectory is the NFL. Yes, you need to select a school with a defensive coaching genius like Kyle Whittingham. Just imagine where Coach Whittingham could take you! All-American indeed.

Needless to say the above argument does not apply to USC. USC has a great tradition of outstanding defenses and defensive standouts. But USC stockpiles five star guys. Look what happened to Josh Portis at Florida. I bet he wishes that he'd have stayed at Utah. You would be a deity at Utah, maybe even start as a freshman.

Finally, a word about missions. I just want to say that your eternal well being will not be affected if you don't go on a mission, but your NFL prospects certainly will. I promise you that's true. It just is. BYU's dirty little secret is that if you went there it would try to ease you out of a mission. BYU thinks it's the only school with divine license to do that. It's not! You can gracefully get out of a mission anywhere. You just have to do it. Not so long ago players with your potential weren't expected to go on missions regardless of where they went to school. That time has all but returned.

Good luck on your school investigations. I know you'll make the right decision for yourself. Remember, it's your life; do what's best for you. In these types of situations, everyone is in it for himself, and all these friends and family who may be nudging you toward BYU or a mission never had as much to lose by following the "righteous" path they are urging on you as you do.

    Sincerely,

    Someone who cares about YOU
When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

Manti is not going to Utah. Manti is not going to BYU. It will be fun watching him though as his team plays on national TV.

Did you see a flag flying at Kyle's house?

By the way SU you dumbass Josh Portis didnt even make it one semester at Florida. Also he would still be backing up BJ right now. He made the right decision to go to Maryland, the problem is he is a dumbass thats why he is not playing. I am sure you had no idea that he cheated on a test, and threatened the kid that turned him in. Of course he probably could have gotten away with that at Utah.

You are probably wise not to go take those pics. Clothing from head to toe doesn't really compete with that.

Oh and it was DDD that posted those pics. I can't take away his thunder.

Are all those girls underalls like that or was that a fluke.

My gosh, I am appalled. I hope Manti sees that and is as appalled as I am.
