  • Little Ute and Coug Uniforms

Hey guys - my two youngest sons wanted football unis for playing in the front yard.

my youngest is a ute, so he's getting a ute uniform, but the middle son wanted an oregon duck uni... couldn't find one of those, so he told me that he wants a byu uni...

they came yesterday and it cracked me up to see these little unis for them to run around in. christmas is going to be fun this year...

here is the site for the unis... not too poorly priced compared to the other stuff out there.

    Where does it come from?

Friends of ours, 4th generation Ute fans on both the mother and father's side, have an adorable 5 year old son who all of a sudden declared he was a BYU fan. Turns out his two best friends in school are cougars, so he wanted to be like them. His parents have gone from being quietly amused, to a little alarmed, to wondering where their influence on their kid has gone, to worrying about his rebellious streak. At their Christmas party last week, someone mentioned to little Johnny that he must have gone back to being a ute because he was wearing a cute red christmas sweater, and that sweater came off and was being stuffed down the kitchen garbage bin so fast his mother didn't catch him in time, and the sweater got dirty. He spent the next 30 minutes barechested, until his mother made him put something on, so he put on a blue jersey.

I am strongly tempted to aid him in his rebellion by giving him a cougar tshirt. Poor tyke has picked out the magnetic "Y"s from his alphabet set, and has decorated his room with those.

Some kids just get it right on their own.

And if he's a true Ute fan, the patience of the dad of this little one is as well.

they guy who owns this company is named royce. he's in provo, and he seems like a really nice guy.

i just remember growing up all i wanted was a football uniform out of the sears and/or jc penney catalogs every year for christmas... never happened, and i still carry around lots of anger because of it.

as for my middle son, i am hoping for another bcs game that will get him straightened out.

Just openly love the oldest one more. That'll straighten him out.

We gave both our sons one of these Ute uniforms last Christmas.

                  They loved them.

                  The price was really good.

Can you still get the name on them? They loved that. My oldest wanted #10 because he like Stevenson Sylvester. The 5 year old wanted a #3.

They got their numbers and the names on the back.

                  They loved it.

The company was great to work with.

Isn't Royce a former BYU player?

Is it Royce Bybee? I thought there was a player named Royce Bybee.

i think that it is royce bybee. they are really great unis. you can select the number and have your kids' names on the back. the ute screening on the ute jersey came off after 10 or so washes, but the byu jersey still look good.

i am in the process of this. oldest and youngest sons are the sole beneficiaries of my trust and middle kid is out. he doesn't seem to care yet, but wait until i get really sick and the reality of it all settles in that he isn't sharing in my vast fortune. that ought to do the trick.

The screening on our Ute jerseys just finally started coming off. Well, it's only one of the two. They've been beaten to death and washed who knows how many times.

Still, for 20 bucks, it's a great deal and the kids love them.

How did you get just the jersey? From the website, it looks like they only sell the full kit.

He'll be OK, as long as he doesn't act on these unnatural urges.
