  • Utah/BYU. Supposedly

behind the scenes, the two institutions have said they remain a 'package' and won't leave the conference individually to joing any other conference.

Does anyone really think neither would bolt to a BCS conference without the other?

I am of the opinion that they would not leave the conference w/out the other. I have no evidence to back this up.

I feel the same way. Just a gut feeling. I kind of hope I am right. It would be weird to be in different conferences. I wish the PAC-10 would just get over its academic snobbery about BYU's religious sponsorship and take both schools. (Not that Utah is a lock to get in the PAC, but it is a plausible candidate.) It would be great. DDD and I could link arms and go to BYU and Utah games together.

A microbiology professor used this image in a recent lecture on leprosy and I knew I just HAD to make it mine.
