  • The Counter...

If you haven't had a chance to go to the Counter down at Gateway. It is worth a visit. Custom made burgers where you build your own burger with size of the burger, bun, cheeses, toppings, etc. The fries are pretty good as well.

It has a diner setting, but it is a nice way to spend an evening down at the Gateway.

We have one across the street from my office and I tend to avoid it becasue it costs too much for a burger, from my POV. It is good, but a burger and drink is abotu 15-20 bucks. Too much for just a burger.
    PLesa excuse the tpyos.

I ate there the 1st week it opened and while the quality of the burger was good, our service was terrible.

The waitress was the snottiest I've ever had.

Did it cost 15-20 bucks for one burger and one drink?

A hamburger and fries, if I remember correctly, ran about $9-10 or so.

I bring the sexiness wherever I go, so owners are usually more than happy to give me big discounts on all that I buy.

That explains why you wear wearing those tacky topaz leg warmers last week. I couldnt fathom why anyone would pay full retail for those.

Did anyone notice that the Gateway location closed? Not a tragic loss, but they did have fantastic milkshakes.
Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...

None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

There's a fairly new one of these in Ballard. On opening day, you could eat there for free. I went, ate for free and have never been back. It was pretty good though.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I noticed that the Gateway location closed. I did eat there once and by the time you get a burger with good toppings, fries, drink, and a tip since you get full service, you really are looking at about $15 to $20.

That's pretty much why I didn't go back. Though we didn't pay, it seemed more pricey than I want to pay for a burger and fries.
