I listened to the Knoxville sports station on the way home from work. Most of the conversation was on the Sugar Bowl.
Tons of respect from the hosts and the callers. A few callers said they should be given the NC. The hosts were a little hesitant, but they said there are certainly good arguments for it. They brought up the OSU, BYU and TCU quality wins. They weren't sure if AFA was in the same conference, although someone later confirmed. All agreed in an 8 team playoff, Utah certainly has a shot to win it all.
Everyone was very impressed with Utah's DLine and how they controlled the game. In fact they were shocked, actually.
They said the most impressive thing in the game was the TD to put Utah up 28-17. At 21-17, everyone thought Alabama would finally right the ship and take charge. But Utah's response with a TD was balls out.
Lots of praise for BJ and what a smart game he played.
Right as I pulled into the driveway, they were saying they think Billy G. is coming to work for Kiffin as the WR coach.
