Well, I'm glad I didn't make the chickenshit list.
I didn't go because in August, I spent $500 a ticket for airfare to SLC from 12/26 to 1/3. That's real coin for a non-lawyer.
And most of the family had a grand time eating bean dip and whopping it up in front of dad's big screen.

Otherwise, N.O. is a day trip, and we would have been there.

Before the game, we had 8 Utah fans in our workforce of 135. None of them went to the game. 3 of them went to the Vegas Bowl. Returning to work today, we had about 15 people wearing Utah gear. None of them still went to the game.

i didn't go b/c i couldn't get anyone to go with me. i wanted to debauch myself and so i invited an undergrad buddy as well as a few high school buddies to go with me. they all said no.

my dad is in a wheel chair, and i offered to take him and to take care of him, etc., and he said no.

two weeks ago i decided i was just going to go by myself and i would make friends there. however, by that time, plane tickets were up to $800 roundtrip from sacramento, oakland and san fran... long story short, i talked myself out of it and will beat myself up for it for the rest of my life. my wife also feels bad now that she wasn't more supportive... that's a little too late, my dear!

i need new friends. i should have just gotten MRD to meet up with me since he is obvioulsy good with the debauchery that i intended on doing.

I don't have a good excuse. I should have gone. I talked to my brother about going with me, but he was too busy at work. That killed my momentum; I didn't want to go down solo.

It was also one of those deals where I hinted at it (going to NOLA) to my wife and vibe I got back was tepid. Everyone who is married knows the vibe I'm talking about.
