This is the last weekend of football until September.

Hey next Saturday is the Army/Navy game and the division I-AA championship, and the following Saturday is the first bowl game. New Mexico Bowl Dec 19, oh boy!

This is why I am in favor of MWC expansion and a championship game. One more week of meaningful football for MWC schools is a good thing. Plus, this year it would have been BSU vs. TCU. That would create some pretty good national buzz. A TCU solid TCU win might have been enough to allow the Frogs to jump Texas and Florida and BSU could still get an at large bid.

I don't agree with you on it being a TCU/BSU matchup.
I am not sold on Boise. I think they will be the worst BCS bowl team since Hawaii.
I don't think that Boise is such a sure thing this year in the MWC. My guess is that they might drop a game on the road vs. Utah or BYU. Maybe even AFA. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see AFA beat Boise.
Also, you are assuming that TCU and BSU would be in different divisions. TCU might have finished ahead of Boise in the same division and the winner might have played BYU in the championship game.

I'm not putting that much thought into what divisions might be and who plays who. All I meant was that another weekend of MWC football, with what could potentially be featuring two top 10 teams would be huge for the conference.

Port, I understand your feelings about Boise, but let's not forget they have one of the best wins in the FBS this year with their win over Oregon. And far be it from me to defend the Broncos, but this team is a lot better than the Hawaii team in 2007. Kellen Moore is a better QB; their offense is much more balanced; and the defense is good, if not great. Kyle Wilson will go in the top 3 rounds in April's draft.
Boise St would be a 9-win team in the MWC at worst.

Seriously, PU your Boise hate is impairing your ability to objectively look at BSU. They're a good team. Definitely top 10 and much better than that Hawaii team.
