  • All you active LDS Ute fans who dislike BYU,

Here's a message from Max Hall for you to ponder:

"Unlike any other college football program in the nation, we represent not only a college or an institution, but a faith."

    http://www.utefans.net/message.php?i...#message934743

I've been trying to tell you; unlike any other self-proclaimed "university" in the country, BYU is actually of the same body as a religion.
When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

That's funny. Your source is UteFans.net.
    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I think Webmonkey was quoting the Max Hall interview clip that the Alabama guy linked in the thread starter. (I haven't listened to it. I don't care to watch Max Hall spewing any more venom, personally.)

I'm shocked to learn that you don't research your facts. Now tell us more about this BYU Cotton Bowl?

          Yes, because Max said so.
Col. Klink: "Staff officers are so clever."
Gen. Burkhalter: "Klink, I am a staff officer."
Col. Klink: "I didn't mean you sir, you're not clever."

Look, I consider your brother a credible source. Don't you? I don't recall seeing him saying adios to his crediblity.

So if you really want to seperate BYU and the Church, than you can't be mad at Max and say he should be more classy due to him playing for a Church sponsored school... pick a side already.

I agree he plays for the LDS church football team.

By the way, I think he's a disgrace to his church.

LOL... disgrace to his Church? I figured I would use that even though I understand what you're saying. You seem to like it.

So why exactly is Max a disgrace to his Church?

He's a senior BYU QB who couldn't make first team all conference.

Mea culpa. A knee-jerk reaction on my part. I listened for you and Max indeed did say those very words.

                          Carry on in your quest.

Why does that make him a disgrace to his church. I don't get it.
