  • Straw Poll: 2010 BYU @ Utah roll call

How many here plan on being in attendance at next year's game? I would imagine that our local Ute contingency will all be there, but how many BYU fans are planning on making the trek up to SLC? Do you go/try to go every year?

Will BYU's regular season performance affect your decision?

Will Utah's regular season performance affect your decision?

Will fear/distaste for the RES experience affect your decision?

How many out of state Ute Cuffers plan on heading to SLC for the game?

I do not care if BYU sucks, Utah sucks or if I get harrassed, I will be at RES next year.

I will be in attendance. Would love to protect some of my little BYU brethren if needed.

Lame, I know, but it sort of depends on the season BYU is having. Aren't RES tickets more expensive than LES tickets? I'm sort of a cheapskate - if I didn't think BYU had a chance of winning I probably wouldn't go.

Also, the few family or friends who are Coug fans wouldn't go to a game at RES. I'd probably need to tag along with some of my CUF brethren, which would be fun.

This poll was meant specifically for me. I'm not ashamed to say whether I go will very much depend on the stakes and my convenience. Sorry! Just being honest. I have no problem with the RES environment. I rather like it.

              I'm going to consider it.

And since it has now been well-established by superior Vulcan-like logic that there is no possible way that anyone would/could smuggle beer into RES, let alone save it until the end of the game in order to sprinkle it upon BYU players and fans, I have one request of the Ute Fans here.

When you do what you do, I prefer San Pellegrino.

And please, don't try to substitute any of that cheap-a$$ Frenchie piss-water Perrier.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I'll most likely be there. Ute fans have always been nice to me there, plus I don't wear the name hall on the back of my clothing

All the members of our crew will be in attendance. We're wearing Max Hall jersey's with the name crossed out and "Classless" written in it's place. Heaps outshining Grif Robles/Dirk Digler will be too much to resist.

                      I'll probably try to go.

I haven't been to a rivalry game in RES since 94, but I'm intrigued and plan to attend in 2010. I may even wear a Hall jersey to get the full experience.

I plan to go next year. I haven't been to the rivalry game since 2002.

Likely no. While I don't like conceding the home field advantage as a reward for fans being jerks, I was just as done after a visit to Rice-Eccles as I was after a visit to War Memorial. I don't expect to return to either. (I really enjoy going to the Huntsman Center for basketball, though.)
