Max Hall love in the SF bay area

Driving to the office this morning the KNBR (SF sports talk radio leader) crew played the Max Hall interview clip (I hate uTah) and were effusive in their praise for his honesty and liked his intensity. They then were very critical that he was 'foprced' tpo apologize. Then a guy called in and told them the back story on his family being spat on and having beer spilled on them and they were even more supportive.

IOW, among sports fans that dont particualry care about Uath or BYU, Hall's comments were no big thang.

The KNBR response was consistent with those of several dispassionate friends yesterday. Maybe it's just that folks in the Bay Area are much more ignernt or calloused than the sensitive souls along the Wasatch Front.

Yes.. That's the guy. I knew I used "razory" in my description for a reason. I wanted to shoot my radio when he came on.

Tolbert was solid when he did NBA games. He sucked as a player but he is like the white CHarles Barkley.
