    I hate you Time Warner: I LOATHE YOU!!!

    So.. About 8 PM (EST) on saturday night I sit down with some pizza and wings to finally watch the BYU game. I had recorded the game and the SEC post game right after. I figured that would be enough..

    I finish the normal 3 hr block and begin to watch tthe SEC post game show. When I noticied that it was only showing half of it as recorded. By this time it was too late. I could not fix the problem. I could only hope the game would end prior to that time.

    Sadly it did not. And I had to watch ESPN to find out what happened. I was furious. It stopped for no reason and in fact did not even record another show we had set..

    This was the 3rd time this has happened in a week and the second time it has screwed a game I had recorded.. So much for DVR... They have already replaced our DVR system within the first 2 months. And will have to replace this one as well..

    I never had this problem when I had DirectTV.. I can't wait to get back in a house and get my DirectTV again...

    I will never suggest anyone to go to Time Warner or any Cable system.. They blow chunks..

    Any chance your dvr was full? That would explain why it cut off suddenly and why it didn't record the rest of your shows.

    I have anxiety attacks like this whenever I have to record a game. I always record an extra hour after b/c I've been burned many times before.

      It was at 50% at the time. Not an issue... I made sure of this as well. Because of that very problem...

        I set this one to record for an extra hour. The game ended 30 seconds before the recording did.

          Same here, although I was at the game so it was just recordin for me to watch it again yesterday.
