  • CUF "40 Challenge 2009"?

Had a funny thought. All this talk regarding BYU's team speed, 40 times etc...got me thinking. Back in the day...we took our 40 times for football. I wonder what it is now?

Would this be a fun CUF challenge over the Thanksgiving holiday....to time ourselves in a 40 yard sprint and get our "CUF 40 time" and post on here?

Personally, I think it would be hilarious (or depressing) when we time ourselves and compare that to those against the BYU/Utah speed (and against each other) and get a good laugh.

Just in time for the Turkey Bowl game too.

    Any takers?

I'm sure it's at least a full second worse than it was in HS.

      Does anyone have a sundial?

I'm confident I can medal in the 55-60 age bracket.

Of course, a "pre-Thansgiving Day meal" time would differ significantly than a "post Thanksgiving Day meal".

A post time for me might be a "40 yard waddle" time.

My hamstring started to hurt just thinking about it.

I think I could run forty yards in about 2 weeks

I may be small, but I'm slow.
