My neighbor is Catholic and a big BYU fan.

        He went to BYU though.

My dad...but he paid for 3 kids education there, so he had to get something back in return for his $.

I'm curious, if we have a thread discussing Wuap in the stadium, without his name in the title, how long until he would notice. The nice southern gent is a voluminous poster, but I rarely see him discussion sports.

Yep. the foofer is our man.

He tried to take up football at the beginning of the season, as did Robin, iirc.

wuap says he will post a lot when the World Cup comes around. It must be because he is Hispanic.

My two best friends at BYU my freshman year were not LDS. One was a Catholic from New Jersey that came for the skiing and the other was a Protestant of some sort from Ohio that came for the business school.

The guy from Ohio eventually joined the church, went on a mission and so on and so forth.

Three of the guys in our golf group are avid BYU fans, three of about 7. One played at BYU during the Hudspeth/Lavell era. Two have season tickets and one of them goes to away games a couple of times a year.

Two have always been non-members and if you asked the other one if he was LDS, I think he would tell you no although I am pretty darn sure he was born LDS because he is from southern Utah.

If we ever purge the fan base, these three will have to be purged. They drink alcohol and use the F word.

Yeah I had a buddy who came to BYU to wrestle. Whoops. After the program was cut he decided to stay and eventually joined the church.

I find myself wishing that I was not LDS sometimes. Does that count?
