  • Great predictions from the past........

We all have great predictions that we have made in the past, SU has had several, I know Drum and Fiyero have had a few. This is the thread to pat yourself on the back. (Must show physical evidence)

Here is a prediction I made back in May of 2008. I actually got in a huge argument in CB chat with Gman and just about every other poster on CB, including getting a boardmail from GMan guaranteeing that Braden Brown would never play tackle at BYU and that he had actually slimmed down some.

(For those that dont follow BYU, Braden Brown started at right tackle last week)

Friel will be the third tight end, Brown is going to eat himself out of the TE position and play tackle. Mahina is a nice option after next year but most likely he will play defense

Has he really eaten himself out of the TE position?

I picked Ole Miss over LSU & Texas Tech over Oklahoma just this past weekend in the ESPN confidence pool, but those were 1 and 2 confidence levels. #10? Notre Dame over UCONN...surely they wouldn't lose at home on senior day would they?...whoops.

I had one on CB a while back during the NCAA tourney where I picked Syracuse over A&M or the reverse I can't remember and it was in response to a post by UNLVCougar. Anyways, whatever I picked was wrong and he boardmailed me about it later irritated at the poor advice.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I don't know about predictions, but I would like to think that scheduling philosophy and recruiting more non-LDS and JC kids were a result of my constant harping on those two issues.

Perhpas in the future we will see football move up the priority list. I think that is my only obsession right now. I should check with Indy to make sure that is the only one.
