  • Just another game for Bronco...

A lot of Y fans have complained that Bronco wants to keep each game level emotionally from week to week and thus his teams are not ready for important games.

This quote probably does not help alleviate those concerns: "Maintaining that [enthusiasm] through the course of 12 weeks is difficult, but I think with the nature of next week's game, there's almost an inherent emotion that comes with that anyway. Usually you're trying to tone it down if you can, because the players are so excited.

He also ordered his players to not talk about the Utah game until Monday where they would start to prepare for them.

    What do you guys think?

Coach speak and nothing else. It's par for the course with him. He goes robotic and monotone and will talk about execution all week. It used to irk me. But it's just his style. And I am okay with it. I think I'd like to see more emotion out of him for no other reason than because I am an emotional fan.

I'll be cheering for the Cougars to be assignment sound.
          Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Probably just trying to send a message that even during this week we should keep our priorities straight. If the weather is good Saturday, I am going golfing.

I don't care what he says during the week as long as the team comes out on fire Saturday. With this year's team though, who knows if that will actually happen.
              Not that, sickos.

Whatevs! I am keeping it real. I call it like I see it. If that makes me a rabble rouser, then call me UteRouser.

It would appear a rabble is another name for a Ute.
