I rented this movie last night to keep myself from watching the Cincinnati/Virginia Tech game. I had never heard of it before, but I am a sucker for John C. Reilly.
The DVD box claims it is a BlockBuster exclusive, so if you want to see it you will have to get it there.
It is about Sean William Scott (I suppose Paul Kruger would want me to just call him Sean Scott) who is an assistant manager at a grocery store in Chicago and is about to become manager at a new store, until Reilly rolls in from Quebec and tries to steal the job. It also features Jenna Fischer as Sean Scott's wife.
Rather than just the employees trying to one up each other it is much deeper and more of a drama than a comedy, although there were a couple of moments that I laughed really hard. Both men struggle with how far they will push their personal morals and the ethics of the job to get the manager position. I really enjoyed it.
