  • If the Ammish had a University and

fielded a football team and BYU beat them at their place by 30, would they be justified in saying they lost because they can't recruit the types of athletes BYU does.

Would they be correct in saying they can't recruit the same calibre of athletes because the Ammish University requires higher moral standards than BYU has.

Actually, the Ammish probably can't even have a University because of the higher moral standards they adhere to.

If Bolivian basket-weaving techniques were found to unlock the cure to carpal tunnel syndrome, would Microsoft create a new OS in response?

If wishes were fishes and ifs and buts were candy and nuts, would you have a the best trail mix on the market if only someone would return your repeated calls to the R&D department?

I want to meet the byu71 for the Ammish university. I can see a grumpy old fart, a stockbroker based out of Philly or something always bitching about the mullah Ammish fans of the team.

I just thought this was the beginning of yet another CUF random thoughts thread, where this one was intended to be even sillier and more meaningless than its predecessors. If you read your first post over again, you can understand why I might have thought that.

I don't know if you could afford their tickets. If you want to sit inside the 40s, They first require a donation of 2,500 bottles of goats milk.

Oh, sorry. My reactive attack against you was uncalled for. I'm sorry.

I would argue against this because the Amish would most likely have recruited a kicker like Gus the mule and would kick a FG every possession.

The Amish would have to sell out and let those edgy Mennonites into their university if they wanted to compete. It's all downhill from there.

They're are some pretty big Amish fellas (and gals) out there. Too bad they only go to school through 8th grade. It's also too bad that they have an extremely high prevalence of birth defects in their community from too much inbreeding.

Don't take this question as a slam on Utah or the church, but do LDS Utahns have problems with this too?

I hadn't thought about the Mennonites being a factor. Once again, Title IX rears it's ugly head.
