This is a real shame, too. The MWC had earned so much respect from the media and other conferences based on its stellar play this year. Also, carry-over respect from Utah's Fiesta Bowl run. The MWC cannot afford to squander all this respect!Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

I agree with this. A damn shame. I read that here was the MWC's chance to estblish itself as the unrivaled king of the non-BCS leagues. It will take years to recover from this debacle if the Utes don't rise to the occasion in the SUGAR BOWL. I like the Broncos. Anyone who has spent any time in Boise has to give props to the people who built a football powerhouse in such a tiny place, so far from everything. I will root for Boise over just about anyone but the Cougars. It was a tough loss for them tonight, but hopefully it will make them more hungry next year. Faith, of course, was dragging my ass out the door to go see Slumdog Milllionaire just when TCU started to turn the game around.Comment
