"The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."
"They talk about the economy this year. Hey, my hairline is in recession, my waistline is in inflation. Altogether, I'm in a depression."
"I like to bike. I could beat Lance Armstrong, only because he couldn't pass me if he was behind me."
It's nice to go from wondering if TCU would jump Boise to wondering what needs to happen for TCU to climb into 1st or 2nd.
"I don't know the origin of said bitch booming."-Art Vandelay
"Hot Lunch posted awhile back on this. He knows more than anyone except for maybe BO."-Seattle Ute
If BYU couldn't win, at least they made TCU look so awesome that they were able to jump Boise in the standings.
BYU's new motto: Ruining things for BSU since 10/24.

Good. No reason to cheer for Boise State at all. That team is going back to the crapper once Peterson leaves.
Isn't that what was said when Hawkins left?

Or when Dirk Koetter left? BSU is a solid program, and will be a 10 win team most every year as long as they stay in the WAC.
Also, and as I have stated previously I quack for Chip, but Oregon didn't feel Peterson was willing to leave BSU to return home to Eugene so they promoted Kelly. Where is he going?

Yes. Dirk Koetter. Even better.
Perhaps Peterson will convert and go to BYU?

Or Houston Nutt.
Or Pokey Allen before him.
At some point, BSU is going to make a bad hire. It happens to nearly every program eventually. Has any program NOT made at least one bad hire and experienced a big drop over a 30+ year span?

Sure they will make a bad hire at some point. What indication is there that Peterson is leaving anytime soon? One would think he would look at what happened to Koetter and Hawkins when they ventured away from the blue turf and think he has a pretty good life in Boise.

They've all done VERY well for themselves financially.
After Boise gets passed over AGAIN for a BCS bowl by a MWC team, he may be plenty frustrated. Who knows.
Houston Nutt seems to have done pretty well. It's taken him a while, but he's doing fine.
