Is Bjork still "Pixie-Like?"

Why does every article anyone ever writes about Bjork make some reference to her being 'pixie-like?' For starters, no one has ever seen a real pixie (other than the Pixies, image of one I provide below for reference). I think the whole pixie concept is more wrapped up in Bjork's visage than it is in any pixie consensus. Also, doesn't the term 'pixie-like' suggest youthfulness? Bjork is no hag, but she is getting up there. Is there a more appropriate mythological reference for an old pixie?

I tried to find an image of her looking plain. She does a pretty good job of directing her public persona. Usually she looks more like this:



Maybe 'pixie-like' is lingo-washing for 'appeals to one's inner pedophile.' Doesn't 'pixie' connote child-like youthfulness? Of course it wouldn't fly to say that Bjork looks like a sexy prepubescent girl, ergo 'pixie-like.'

Maybe her nose is pixie-like. It isn't a terribly human-like nose.
