  • Question about staduim-approved gear...

I know that I can take in a blanket, some stadium seats, my own water, etc..., but can I take in a thermos full of Hot Chocolate? How big/small can it be?

Put it in your jock. They will just think you are really excited for the game.

Blanket good, stadium seat good but I don't think you can take in outside food/drink.

At least it would keep me warm!

I've seen people at LES eat all the same things you see in sacrament meeting, including PB&J sandwiches. It's all a matter of what you can sneak into your jacket's inner pockets.

The only way I've gotten a beverage into a game is in a sippy cup.

It might be worth taking a diaper bag in. Who knows if they care that you don't have a kid with you or not.

They do sell hot chocolate at the stadium.

Sneaking in is the key word...

If they see water they take it away. Along with anything else.

Get a skinnier-type thermos. Stick it in the end of your coat sleeve and hold on to it so that it doesn't fall out. Just carry your blanket and chair in your other hand.

Because this is the most honest thing to do.

You're probably not aware of this, but Cougars don't cut corners.

Is that pretty common at venues around the country?

I've had success with a thermos with a strap. I just put the strap over my shoulder (inside my coat) and place the thermos on my back. I've done it 3 times. The first time I took in some wassail, the next time I took hot chocolate. My neighbors were high fiving me. The third time I took coffee and people weren't happy. I was afraid someone was going to tell on me.

That sounds like a really good idea. I'll do it for the Utah game. People will just assume that it's a Ute fan.
