I think a big key in this game will be keeping Jeremy Kerley in check. Last year he made the Cougs look foolish all on his own. This will be the toughest test BYU faces this year to see if they have improved defending against the wildcat. I also think they have to kick away from Kerley. Kickoffs need to go to the opposite side of the field and I wouldn't mind if punts go out of bounds or are short in order to keep Kerley from returning the ball.

Seriously, Bob Anae ain't clever. You are on the 1 yard line. Just freaking hand the ball to Unga and score the points. It's not like you are going to be stopped. Spare us the quad salchow Uta Hagen bit next time you are in town, please.
Other than that, I really appreciated Max's effort.

It is similar in that you are getting the ball in your primary playmakers hand quicker and without a QB, but the thinking is less of power man on man football and more making the defense make a mistake.

Originally posted by Sizzle View PostIt is different. It is still a direct snap, but there is an option read where either a WR/RB coming in motion can take the ball in a hand off, or the direct snap player can dive, run off tackle or in some cases throw. The big thing is the seams that it can create in a defense with the different options. If the linebackers cheat and follow the motion player, they leave the middle exposed. If they don't follow the motion, they give a player who is running full steam a chance to get to the corner.

His entrance into the game started my worst cussing fit that I had all of last year.
