  • Dear Kellen Fowler............

You have been at BYU since 2001, you have been a starter for the past 2 seasons. You have seen significant playing time in 3 of your 4 seasons, and you have been playing football since you were a little boy. Can you please tell me one time at any point in your football career where a safety playing cover 2 was supposed to pass off a receiver going deep to a corner!

Dipshit, if you are the deep safety and you are playing the soft as charmin zone that BYU loves to play, and the corner has a man running a go route through his zone so he is obviously doing his job covering him, and then the receiver gets too deep, and another receiver is running a route that is more shallow in his zone, should he keep running with the receiver eventhough he is supposed to have safety help? Or should you pass the receiver off and try to pick up the more shallow route? Well Kellen according to you, the safety should try and come up on the shallow route that he is 30 yards away from, and let the F***ing receiver run right by him for a wide open touchdown.

This is the type of shit that should not be happening during game 13 with senior players. Hell this scenario shouldnt happen in little league football.

Pretty funny stuff there. I think you should send it. Copy Blaine on it too.

Maybe this is why he sucked, because he's trying to decide which law school to attend:

has received scholarship offers to attend law school at Pennsylvania, University of Chicago, Cornell, Duke, Virginia, BYU, UCLA and USC

Keep in mind that Kellen is as good as he is. The problem is with the coaches who thought he was the best on the team to play that position.

Yeah...you've got to wonder what the person who recruited him was thinking when he offered him...unless his last name was just too much of a draw.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I am not sure what other offers he had, but Kellen was offered by AFA. They wanted him to play QB. I am not sure, but he may have walked on at BYU. I seem to recall that he turned down a "better" offer at AFA.

I think Utah State and Nebraska offered him also, at least according to his bio.

Having talked to a few people who watched him play in High School, they always wondered how he got offered to play at the Y, or anywhere for that matter. I think most people know why that is...

Everyone offered him as an option QB. He walked on at BYU at first as a qb then he switched to safety.

I just wish Kellen Fowler had a chance to keep up the good work for BYU for a longer period of time. If any player deserved 8 years of eligibility it is him.

Seriously. If I were a fan of any team besides BYU in the MWC, Fowler would be my favorite player in the conference.

Kellen went to the Y on an academic scholarship. I believe his only offer for a football scholarship was at Air Force, where they were interested in him running the option.
