  • Tim Tebow....Rise and be made whole!

OK, so when Tebow was hurt, I joined with the masses and assumed he would be fine for the LSU game 2 weeks later.

Initial reports out of UF seemed to support this conclusion.

However, here we are, a few days before kickoff, and by all reports, Tebow has yet to participate in a full practice. He had a light workout on Tues (no contact) and was cleared for "some contact" today, although not sure how that went.

I understand that gamesmanship is sometimes part of the strategy, but UF is better than LSU. They don't need to play mind games with the Tigers in order to beat them. What are the chances that Tebow is having a KG/Bynum type injury...worse than the team cares to initially admit?

I think Urban is playing games. I think he is fine and will play on Saturday. I think it is all gamesmanship.

I think it's crazy when these guys come back after getting literally knocked out just a week or 2 earlier. Lots of long term risk that probably isn't worth the short term glory.

I agree, but then Tebow shouldn't even be playing on Saturdays, he should have taken the money, instead he's the big man on campus with a concussion that could ruin his playing career.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

How stupid does our friend in Oklahoma feel right now?

I think she is used to this feeling of hopelessness.

I am not sure that UF is better than LSU in a night game in Baton Rogue. With or with Tebow. But I am a homer.

Urban Meyer has not won in Baton Rouge yet. And while I think LSU is suspect, this is a huge game for them, and Les Miles will coach those guys up.

Regarding Tebow, all I've heard is he's a game-time decision. I wouldn't be surprised either way. I think Brantley, even as inexperienced as he is, would be more effective than the current Tebow.

A couple of weeks ago, I told junkie that Penn State was fishy and they would meet their doom against Iowa. He agreed. The next day, Iowa beat Penn State in Happy Valley.

This week, I told Junkie that LSU looked good this weekend and that they will be very tough against Florida. Junkie disagreed.

We will see this weekend. Junkie is usually right on these things, but my spidey senses tell me that there will be some Rajin Cajun going on in Death Valley on Saturday night.

I am rooting for the Tigers in this one.

I wonder if Tim Tebow would be willing to heal Jeremiah Masoli's knee? I have faith he has the power to do so.

I didn't know this about Urban. LSU's win between the hedges was impressive in that it was gritty and showed major stones. I think that is the last bit of confidence boost they need going into Saturday. That place is going to be loud and proud.
