(assuming you had tickets, etc)?
On Sunday evening, while putting my 20-month-old son to bed, he protested, lunged for a hand-hold and completely threw my back out. I should've spent a day or two in bed letting my back heal, but I just didn't have the time. This week has been hectic at work - corporate and divisional CEOs in from NYC, a huge project deadline that's required a number of little fixes here and there, etc. So it's been lots of ice and ibuprofen during the day and Vicodin at night.
With the state of my back, I just can't justify going to the game. The bleachers would make things much worse, as would incessant standing/sitting/standing/sitting. So I'm staying home and watching the game on the mountain, icepack under my back and remote control in hand.
Kinda hard to believe it's come to this. As a freshman I went to the 1984 BYU-Wyoming game with walking pneumonia and a 103 degree fever...
